Terms and Conditions

These terms govern use of the Aqua Tech Resources website and OperatorCore, the water and wastewater operations platform provided by Aqua Tech Resources LLC.

Effective date: October 2, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the website or app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or app.

OperatorCore and Aqua Tech Resources

OperatorCore is a water and wastewater operations platform developed and provided by Aqua Tech Resources LLC. OperatorCore is a product name, not a separate legal entity. References to “we,” “us,” or “Aqua Tech Resources” include the operation and support of OperatorCore.

Purpose of the website and platform

Aqua Tech Resources LLC provides educational, organizational, calculation, documentation, maintenance, and general technical resources for water, wastewater, industrial pretreatment, and related work. OperatorCore features may include calculators, reference material, operator forms, bench sheets, maintenance and calibration forms, embedded procedures, email delivery, reminders, course content, progress records, and completion records.

Operational and safety responsibility

The website and app are support tools and do not replace site-specific procedures, permits, laws, regulations, manufacturer instructions, professional engineering judgment, laboratory quality-control requirements, or qualified operator supervision. Results and recommendations must be independently verified before being used for operational, maintenance, safety, compliance, or financial decisions.

Never use the website or app as a substitute for emergency procedures. Follow facility emergency plans and contact the appropriate emergency service, regulator, supervisor, manufacturer, engineer, or qualified professional when circumstances require it.

User accounts and sign-in security

You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your credentials, and all activity under your account. Do not share passwords, verification codes, security-question answers, or your four-digit PIN, and do not attempt to access another person’s account. OperatorCore uses a password and an emailed verification code for sign-in. The separate PIN may confirm sensitive actions and identify the operator, sampler, or analyst making an entry; it does not replace account sign-in. If you choose to trust a device, the app may remember that device for up to 30 days. Use that option only on a device you control, and notify Aqua Tech Resources if you believe an account, PIN, recovery email, or trusted device has been compromised.

Installation and updates

OperatorCore is currently provided as an installable web application rather than through an app store. An installed app may use cached files and may not immediately adopt a changed app name, icon, or installation identity. Users with the former Aqua Tech Resources app should uninstall the legacy app and install OperatorCore from the current OperatorCore page. Feature and security updates may be delivered automatically when the installed app reconnects to the website, but a current browser, internet connection, refresh, or reinstallation may sometimes be required.

Services, organizations, and access

Public website information, free OperatorCore accounts, private demonstration access, organization accounts, training programs, technical services, and other offerings may have different eligibility, availability, and access periods. A website or platform account does not by itself create a consulting, engineering, operator-of-record, maintenance, or training-services agreement. Paid or client-specific services are governed by the applicable written proposal, scope, purchase order, or other agreement.

Records created within an organization account—including asset inventories, component and nameplate information, work orders, maintenance records, forms, attachments, organization settings, and training records—may be available to authorized organization administrators and Aqua Tech Resources platform administrators. Organization-owned operational records may remain with the organization after the operator who created them leaves or closes an account.

Subscriptions, billing, and renewal

OperatorCore calculators and Helpful Links are available without a paid subscription. Other platform features require an active individual subscription, organization subscription, or authorized demonstration access. Individual subscriptions are offered at the price and billing interval displayed at checkout and renew automatically until canceled. Organization subscriptions are invoiced annually, include the number of users stated on the invoice or agreement, and may carry additional-user charges. Prices, taxes, renewal terms, payment due dates, cancellation rights, and any refund terms shown at purchase or in an organization agreement are part of these terms. Failure to pay may result in restricted access. Canceling an individual subscription stops future renewal; access ordinarily continues through the end of the current paid billing period. Cancellation does not ordinarily create a refund for that period except when required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

Payment processing

Individual card payments are processed by Stripe or another disclosed payment processor. Aqua Tech Resources does not receive or store full payment-card numbers through OperatorCore. Payment processors apply their own terms and privacy practices. You authorize the applicable charges when you submit payment information through checkout.

User-entered information, files, and records

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and appropriate use of information entered into calculators, forms, bench sheets, asset and component inventories, equipment nameplate records, permit profiles, monitoring requirements, preventive-maintenance schedules, work orders, maintenance records, and other features. Some drafts may remain on the current device, while submitted or saved records may be stored with the OperatorCore account or organization. Review generated records before relying on, submitting, or distributing them. You must have permission to enter or send information belonging to an employer, facility, client, or other person.

For supported account-saved forms, OperatorCore may reject a save when another device or page changed the server record after the form was opened. The local entries remain available for review, and the user must reload or reconcile them with the newer saved record. The record owner may be offered the 20 most recent prior form versions for selective recovery. Recovered entries must be verified; recovery does not restore protected identity, confirmation, or locked fields and does not sign or complete a record.

You may upload supported images and PDF files to applicable asset or permit-reference records. You must have the right and authorization to upload each file. Do not upload malicious files, export-controlled information, security-sensitive facility details, personal information that is not needed for the record, or material that infringes another person’s rights.

Automatically prepared and scheduled operational records

Some organization workflows create dated drafts and linked calibration, inspection, wasting, or bench-sheet records automatically. Active preventive-maintenance schedules may create separate work orders based on the selected recurrence, advance-creation period, start date, and end date. Pausing or canceling a schedule stops future generation but does not automatically remove work orders already created. Other linked records or work orders are created only when a user selects the applicable option. Automatic creation, dates, links, PIN attribution, and saved draft entries do not independently verify that a round, sample, test, inspection, or maintenance action occurred. Users must review, complete, and confirm each record before relying on or distributing it.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the website or app, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content at scale, impersonate another person, use the service unlawfully, or use it to infringe the rights of others.

Organization form customization

Authorized organization administrators may create organization-specific forms and configure eligible fields, headings, layouts, dropdown choices, requirements, engineering units, numeric ranges, decimal precision, conditional logic, and linked child-form mappings. The organization is responsible for reviewing and maintaining those settings and for confirming that each form remains suitable for its procedures, permits, quality systems, retention obligations, and intended use. Range warnings and decimal formatting are convenience controls: they do not convert units, prevent an actual reading from being recorded, establish an official limit, or validate the accuracy of a value.

A child record receives the configured mapped values when it is created; later changes to the parent do not automatically update the child. Later template changes may affect open or future forms, while organization-created records retain stored field definitions for record context. Users must review copied values, calculations, field labels, recipients, and completed PDFs before relying on or distributing them.

Internal records and regulatory submissions

Unless a separate written agreement or regulator-approved workflow expressly states otherwise, OperatorCore forms, PIN confirmations, range flags, PDFs, and emailed records are internal working records. They do not by themselves constitute an electronic submission to a regulator, a regulator-approved copy of record, a legally sufficient electronic signature, or compliance with CROMERR or another agency electronic-reporting system. Users remain responsible for submitting required information through the method required by the applicable permit, agency, or law.

Permit settings and flags

Organization administrators are responsible for entering and maintaining accurate permitting states, issuing agencies, facility and permit details, receiving waters, monitoring locations, phases, parameters, units, sampling requirements, seasonal periods, and concentration or loading limits. OperatorCore may compare supported form readings with organization-defined instantaneous limits and display a possible out-of-range flag. These comparisons are general operational aids and are not official compliance determinations, permit interpretations, electronic regulatory submissions, or a replacement for current permits, required sampling and quality controls, certified laboratory results, Discharge Monitoring Reports, or communication with the permitting authority. Users must verify each configured value, reading, calculation, and reporting obligation.

Asset QR labels and scanner

Asset QR labels encode a link to an OperatorCore asset record. A label is an identification aid and does not make the record public or bypass account and organization access controls. The scanner may also recognize external web links; users must verify a scanned destination before opening it. Users must place, distribute, replace, and dispose of labels appropriately for facility security. Do not treat a label, scan result, or asset page as a safety lockout, equipment-isolation control, emergency instruction, or substitute for approved facility identification and procedures.

Intellectual property

The Aqua Tech Resources website, OperatorCore name and branding, platform software, original text, forms, graphics, procedures, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Aqua Tech Resources LLC and are protected by applicable law. You may use provided resources for their intended personal or organizational purpose. You may not sell, republish, rebrand, reverse engineer, or create a competing product from them without written permission.

Location, weather, and mapping features

Features that use current weather, maps, or routing may ask for browser location permission or allow manual entry. An organization administrator may also connect a facility's Davis WeatherLink account and assign a station. The organization is responsible for authorization to provide those credentials and use station data. Weather and location-derived results are estimates and must be verified against facility conditions, approved records, and applicable requirements. Do not rely on weather, map, or route results for emergency response, isolation, traffic control, or other safety-critical decisions. A service request submitted in OperatorCore does not replace immediate emergency notification or facility procedures.

Third-party resources and integrations

The website and app may link to or exchange limited information with third-party websites, videos, standards, agencies, payment and email providers, weather data, maps, or routing services. Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices. Aqua Tech Resources does not control third-party content or systems and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, content, or practices.

Availability and changes

Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed without notice. Aqua Tech Resources does not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, permanent storage of user-entered information, or that every feature will always be error-free.

Electronic communications

By requesting account access, password recovery, form delivery, calibration reminders, or support, you authorize the service-related emails needed to complete that request. Optional marketing or update emails are separate and may be declined or unsubscribed from. Email is not guaranteed to be confidential, immediate, or error-free.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, app, and content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or regulatory compliance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aqua Tech Resources LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, downtime, compliance consequences, equipment damage, or operational losses arising from use of or inability to use the website or app.

Suspension or termination

Access may be suspended or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect users, systems, Aqua Tech Resources, or third parties; to address nonpayment for paid services; or in response to a violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in Ohio unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the website, app, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when updates are posted. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
